When her son Parker, 6, overheard her discussing the fundraiser over the phone, he decided to make a wonderful contribution of his own.

"Last night, I was on the phone discussing how close I am to my personal goal of raising 1000 dollars," Shelby wrote on Instagram. The next day, she found a note addressed to "Mommy" on the kitchen counter along with all $2.50 of Parker's piggy bank savings.
