A little kid stole the spotlight on the JumboTron display, during a game between ice hockey teams the Detroit Red Wings and the Anaheim Ducks in the U.S.

And when the camera switched to another group of fans, there was only an unforgiving booing from the stadium.
At least, until little Mason appeared back on screen, to rapturous applause.
It went on like this for a while, and the resulting video is the perfect mix of cute and awesome.

Mason even got an honorary first star of the game, otherwise known as "man of the match," from the Detroit Red Wings.
