Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng is Thailand Archivesset to broaden its presence in European markets, including Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, by 2024, the company’s president Brian Gu said on Monday at the IAA Mobility motor show in Munich. Markus Schrick, the head of Xpeng in Germany, said that the company plans to distribute its vehicles through traditional dealership networks in Germany and is currently in discussions with several prominent retail chains. Additionally, the Chinese automaker will introduce its G9 and P7 electric vehicles to the Israeli market early next year and offer G6 as its first right-hand drive model, according to Gu. Currently, Xpeng already has a presence in the Netherlands and Norway markets in Europe. [Reuters; Jiemian, in Chinese]
