Blake Shelton has responded to criticism of some of his older,Watch Educating Elainia (2006) truly horrific tweets that were recently brought to light. In his apology, The Voicejudge attributed his comments to his esteemed comedy skills.
"Everyone knows comedy has been a major part of my career and it's always been out there for anyone to see," tweeted the country singer in a note.

Everyone knows that the words "anybody who who may have been offended" are the hallmark of a genuine apology.
So what was the fuss about, anyway?

Oh yeah, those are really bad.
Hopefully Shelton's comedy has improved significantly (there's really nowhere to go but up from here). Maybe soon he'll reveal that his entire relationship with Gwen Stefani has been a long running joke.
