Exactly one year ago -- one day after being reinstated as CEO -- Twitter cofounder and USAproduct visionary Jack Dorsey announced Twitter Moments.
The product, built under the code name Project Lightning, was intended to represent Twitter's future.
"Moments is a bold new experience that I think does question a lot of our fundamentals. Moments is one piece that makes all of Twitter better and easier to understand," Dorsey told investors in October.
Now, the future of Twitter is under question. Twitter itself is having a moment as potential suitors circle the publicly-traded company.
In honor of the anniversary of Moments and the peculiar state of Twitter, Mashablecreated a timeline to guide you through how it all started and what's changed.
