David Lopes de Oliveira is a 22-year-old tradie (as they're called locally) with the voice of an angel. He can jackhammer andsing Pavarotti, as his mate Patrick Keating's Facebook video clearly showcases.
SEE ALSO: British singer's open letter about racist encounter on a trainOliveira is originally from Brazil, and is working in construction to pay for music classes and English lessons. He apparently aspires to study at Sydney's prestigious Conservatorium of Music, once he passes the English exam.
And while his rendition of Pavarotti's "Nessun Dorma" would bring a tear to anyone's eye, Oliveira's had no formal training.
"I have never done any voice studies [or] classes and everything I know is because since I was a little child, I sang in my church in a lot of choirs," he told Storyful.
"Davi is actually studying music this year and one day dreams of singing in Sydney's Opera House," his buddy Keating wrote on Facebook. "Like and share and lets make his dream come true ;) ;) #peace&love #Pavarotti #lethal #sydney #jackhammer #yesthedavi ;)"
