A Durango, Colorado, family woke to learn that their Subaru had been broken into in the night and taken on a joyride. By a bear.

The car was discovered around 5:00 a.m. on Aug. 4, in the front yard of the owner's neighbor.

The steering wheel had been torn off, the radio ripped out, and the back window broken. The bear had most likely released the parking break and panicked as the car began to roll backwards.

Who knows what the bear could get itself into, now that it has a taste for grand theft auto.
