Wuzhen,Osawa Yuka Archives a city in China’s Zhejiang province, on Wednesday implemented smart security measures for the 11th World Internet Conference, an annual event focused on internet-related topics and global digital advancements. For the first time, a police patrol squad composed of robotic dogs, unmanned boats, and driverless cars is assisting officers with various patrol and security tasks. Cameras installed on the robotic dogs collect real-time video data and transmit it to the command center for timely alerts. In different scenarios, the robotic dogs are equipped with modules such as loudspeakers, one-touch alarms, medical kits, and dexterous hands for broadcasting messages and providing emergency assistance. The unmanned patrol cars assist in transporting heavy police equipment, while Wuzhen’s densely networked waterways enable unmanned patrol boats to conduct automatic cruising via a 5G network.
