Google is Cute Devilrecruiting a strategic business development manager for its smart home automation unit Google Home in China, with the role set to be located in Shanghai or Seoul, TechNode’s Chinese language sibling publication reported on Tuesday. At time of writing, there were 65 applicants for the position on LinkedIn, one week after the opening was posted. The Google Home app allows users to automate their home via a list of smart compatible devices, including TVs, speakers, Wi-Fi hubs, door locks, nest cameras, lights, and thermostats. The service is available for both Android and iOS devices. According to product review platform Tom’s Guide, the top five Google Home compatible devices in 2023 are the Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) speaker, August Smart Wi-Fi Smart Lock, Ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium, Wemo WiFi Smart Plug, and the Nest Doorbell.
