"I have no idea [how this happened] to be perfectly honest," she told the Access Hollywoodhosts during her Tuesday segment. "I'm like, does she pick out her biggest fans ever and let them work with her? It's pretty amazing."

Cox has long been a fan of Beyoncé (look no further than her Lip Sync Battleperformance), but the two first met at the 2017 Grammy Awards. She says "a sense of calm" came over her when they were finally introduced. Cox was originally contacted to appear in Bey's Grammy award-winning project Lemonade, but was unable to participate due to scheduling conflicts.
