I don’t usually look twice at open-box gear unless I’m feeling brave or broke. But $89.99 for Sony’s PULSE Elite wireless headset at Best Buy? That’s a risk I’m more than willing to take. Brand new, this thing goes for $149.99. For $60 less, I’ll deal with a few cosmetic scuffs if it still sounds like a dream and plays nice with my PS5.

I think what makes this headset a standout is the combo of planar magnetic drivers and PlayStation Link tech. Battery life is a non-issue. It lasts up to 30 hours, and if you forget to charge it (which I always do), a 10-minute quick charge gives you two hours of juice. Also, the included charging hanger keeps it off your desk and looking less like an e-waste graveyard.
