Several big tech firms in China will collectively work on Engsub Archivessecurity concerns related to the rise of artificial intelligence, according to a September 7 report by Chinese news outlet Jiemian. During a forum on September 7, CSA (Great China Region), a renowned international industry organization, announced the establishment of an AI Security Working Group, with Chinese tech giants such as Ant Group, Huawei, Baidu, and ByteDance as its founding members. The group aims to make a joint effort to address the security challenges arising from the rapid development of AI technology, as per the report by Jiemian. Apart from the big name firms, state-backed firm China Telecom, the National FinTech Evaluation Center, and public research university Xidian University are also among the group’s initiators.
