Lena Dunham's tattoos012 Archivesalways been in the public eye – along with the rest of her skin, as critics love to mention – so her recent Instagram post showing off a new chest piece comes as a not-huge surprise, really.

Thank you @trinegrimm for my warrior's chest plate/tit chandelier. This is my first original piece by a female tattoo artist and it felt sacred and cool and she didn't chide me for copying @badgalriri's placement. If you're ever in Oslo, go meet this metal queen and let her handle your body 🌖

However, her latest ink addition is getting some attention because of its placement, which Lena herself points out is "copying [Rhianna's]."

And yeah, the tattoo immediately calls to mind what is arguably the most famous underboob tattoo of the 21st century, the underboob tattoo that essentially set the bar for all underboob tattoos:

Rihanna's 2012 piece is a tribute to her grandmother, a black and white heiroglyphic of the Egyptian goddess Isis.

Dunham's is an original design by Norwegian tattoo artist @trinnegrimm.

This on-trend tattoo is just the latest installment in Lena Dunham's Rihanna-inspired aesthetic choices-- she's been spotted in Fenty X Puma shoes before:
