As expected,Watch Peaky Blinders Apple is releasing updated versions of its iWork apps with support for Apple Pencil.
The company announced the new features at a special education event in Chicago today, where it also announced a brand new iPad with support for Apple Pencil.
As part of the software update, Apple is rolling out a feature for its Pages app called Smart Annotation, which will allow teachers to mark up documents using the Pencil. It will also, presumably, allow students to annotate documents and texts that they're reading.
Apple is now beta testing the feature in iOS 11.3.
The company is also rolling out features that will allow users to create books in Pages, using an assortment of templates.
