Get ready,Watch Vacances A Ibiza (1982) cord cutters: The biggest online TV package is launching soon.
AT&T is going to offer a near-complete version of its usual cable and satellite TV bundle through the internet with more than 100 channels on offer, the company's CEO announced on Tuesday.
It won't come cheap. The service is going to cost $35 per month, making it pricer than, for instance, the $20-per-month Sling TV base package.
AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson announced the pricing and channel count for the new service at a Wall Street Journalevent on Tuesday.
The upcoming release of AT&T's internet TV service has taken on an even higher profile following the company's acquisition of Time Warner last week for more than $85 billion. Time Warner owns a variety of TV assets including TNT, TBS and HBO, as well as Warner Bros. movie studio.
