Yes,Porno (1981) full movie in english subtitles it's April Fools' Day, but Burger King assures us this is no joke.
The burger chain will offer a version of the Whopper featuring the Impossible Burger -- the disturbingly meat-like plant-based patty that's made appearances everywhere from trendy NYC restaurants to White Castle.
According to a press release from the company, the sandwich will be offered at 59 Burger King restaurants in the St. Louis, Missouri, area. (If you don't like it, you can chalk it up to St. Louis' apparently very disturbing food culture).
In the spirit of the season, the company even pranked a bunch of beef devotees with their new burger, which you can watch above. May we all love something as much as these people think they love beef.
The Impossible Burger, which Vox called "not particularly healthy" in an explainer late last year, is made "mostly of wheat and potato proteins, coconut oil and heme." (A full list of ingredients is on the FAQ section of its website.)
If you think this sounds a like an April Fools' Day prank, you are not alone. A Burger King spokesperson, though, confirmed to Mashable via email that "yes, this is a real market test."
