If you're going to Coachella,Sex Partner Who Is More Attracted to Married Women enjoy your last year not paying taxes on your Airbnb.
The home-rental company will start collecting hotel and tourist taxes May 1 in 10 more U.S. cities and counties, plus the entire state of Texas and 31 cities in France. (Coachella is this April.)
That brings the places where Airbnb collects taxes up to 250 jurisdictions in the United States. For Airbnb customers, that means you pay a little bit of extra money when you book a room. For Airbnb, it means that maybe cities that are now getting tax dollars from Airbnb rentals will stop hating the company so much.
"We look forward to working with city officials to establish programs for collecting and remitting tourist taxes, helping them realize the economic benefits of home sharing, and strengthening the cities and communities that Airbnb hosts call home," Airbnb wrote in a blog post announcing its new tax agreements.
