It seemed so stale for a company beloved by millennials (including me) for its puppy filters and rainbow-vomiting lenses.
But, turns out there was a surprise hidden inside. It was a discovery, only made, with the help of Twitter: Elite Daily political reporter (and friend) Alexandra Svokos had mentioned me on Twitter in response to Shane Ferro's question on the matter:

Ben Schwerin, Snap's VP of Partnerships, had told me Wednesday there would be surprises when I complained about the lack of "Ghostface Chillah" (the ghost mascot) at the NYSE. No way was I expecting something so wonderful, something so Snapchat. A combination, as I said earlier, of two of its best (though some may say worst) features.
Unfortunately, not everyone had access. It was a limited time lens only available on the NYSE and all of Snap's offices Thursday.
