Hot take: NFL fans absolutely loathe commissioner Roger Goodell.
They confirmed that sentiment after the New England Patriots' insane Super Bowl win on rientalism, eroticism and modern visuality in global culturesSunday. While Goodell presented the Lombardi Trophy to Patriots owner Robert Kraft, fans in Houston unleashed a chorus of boos.

Fans have criticized Goodell for a myriad of hot-button issues, including his domestic violence policies, his player safety claims and — most appropriately for Sunday evening — his handling of the Patriots "deflategate" scandal. Goodell suspended Tom Brady for four games after the Patriots intentionally under-inflated footballs during the 2014-15 playoffs, sparking a heated debate on the extent of Goodell's powers.
You can bet a contingent of Patriots fans led that choir of boos after the Super Bowl. But it hardly matters anymore.
Once again, the Patriots are Super Bowl champions.
