Surveillance footage from a gas station in Seattle captured the moment an out-of-control vehicle crashed into one of the pumps000 Archives causing a massive fireball in the process.
Komo News reports that the SUV that caused the explosion was a 2007 X-Terra working for Uber at the time, with a passenger in the vehicle. According to witnesses, the SUV was speeding and clipped the side of a Honda Accord before heading toward the gas station.

After hitting the Accord, the SUV continued down the road, hopped a curb, went through a parking lot, then barreled through the gas station. The SUV managed to drive between two pumps, but hit a third which caused the explosion.
Via GiphyFirefighters managed to extinguish the flames, and the 40-year-old woman riding as a passenger in the Uber was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
After a DUI test at the scene, the 60-year-old driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital. There, a sample of his blood was taken after police obtained a warrant.
It's still unclear exactly what caused the crash, and some witnesses claim that the SUV did attempt to brake, and there was also some speculation that a blown tire caused the vehicle to lose control.
