Is one Heardlea day not cutting it? There's a nostalgic new clone for you.
Heardle Decades takes the song-guessing Wordlevariant to make individual music guessing games based on songs from the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. It's not an official Heardleoffshoot, so has nothing to do with Heardle's new owner, Spotify, but it plugs into the streaming site.
Like the original, Heardle Decadespicks a random song from a list, but unlike Heardle(which picks from the top streamed songs of the last 10 years), each game picks a random song from "an ever-expanding list of great songs" from the '60s through to the '90s. There's also a separate game for '80s No. 1s taken from the list of 1980s chart-toppers from the U.S. and UK.
It's just like Wordleand Heardleand all the other variables — you get a tiny snippet of the intro and six guesses to name the song, with each guess adding a couple of extra seconds to figure it out.

Meanwhile, the original Heardle, created by digital production studio Omaske, was recently acquired by Spotify, but will remain free on its original site for now — with new Spotify branding, of course.
