Bumble just borrowed another page from the Tinder playbook.
Per VentureBeat,Sisters Slave (2019) the dating app has integrated users' Instagram accounts into their profiles, allowing potential matches to view each other's 'grams without leaving the Bumble application. (Yes, that includes all those mirror selfies you've been missing.)
SEE ALSO: Bumble’s pop-up wants to remind people that dating isn't all doom and gloomShould you want to share your Instagram with would-be lovers, you can activate the feature under the "Edit Profile" menu. Your 24 most recent Instagram posts will then appear on your profile -- a great way to add some pizzazz.
As with any dating app-social media marriage, though, there are some drawbacks. Instagram integration -- especially one this simple to access -- makes it mucheasier for people to find you off the app.
SEE ALSO: Tindstagramming is the newest way to be a huge creepFor example, if your Instagram contains a lot of personal details or if your handles are the same across platforms, your potential matches will probably be able to find your Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, too. And do you really want "Josh, 29" to know every place you've worked since 2005?
Friends, the world of online dating becomes more uncomfortable each day. Google Plus integration, here we come!
