It seems like even Saturday Night Live is over this election.
At the end of the show's cold open on Frauen ohne UnschuldSaturday, Alec Baldwin broke character as Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump character to apologize to Kate McKinnon, who was in character as Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
"I feel so gross all the time," Baldwin said. "Don't you feel gross about this?" he asked the audience.
"You know what I think will help us?" McKinnon responded. "Let's get out of here."
The two then exited 30 Rock to frolic the streets of New York City.
The great escape came after a segment in which Cecily Strong, playing CNN anchor Erin Burnett, continuously brought up the Clinton emails, rather than anything Trump-related.
Earlier in the sketch, Baldwin's Trump calls Clinton "the most corrupt person ever to run for president."
McKinnon's Clinton, meanwhile, points out Trump's countless seemingly corrupt relationships with the FBI, Russia and the KKK.
Trump denies all of these relationships, but then appears kissing a FBI agent, Russian President Vladmir Putin and a KKK member.
Yes, really.

The segment ended in a more political way than usual, with the duo urging the audience to vote.
“None of this will have mattered if you don’t vote.”
"We can't tell you who to vote for...[but] come Tuesday, we all get to choose what country we get to live in."
