Meyer released tidbits for fans, but the publication was canceled when a manuscript leaked and then tabled while the films went into production.
The Twilightnovels exploded in popularity in the early-2000s, telling the story of a teenage girl who falls in love with an immortal vampire. The books have sold over 100 million copies worldwide and the Lionsgate film series has grossed over $3.3 billion worldwide.
Midnight Sunwill hit bookshelves and online stores on August 4.
