Former Alibaba Vice President Hu Chenjie has recently joined the Chinese open-source technology company Open Source China (OSChina) as its Chief Strategy Officer. After joining the company,Size Does Not Matter (2025) Hindi Web Series Hu will be primarily responsible for the strategic promotion of open-source community culture, and the company’s investment and financing operations, the firm said. OSChina, founded in 2008, completed a RMB 775 million ($109 million) Series B+ funding round in June 2023, with state-owned CAS Holdings and Chinese tech giants Huawei and ZTE as its current shareholders. Its code hosting platform Gitee provides services for 10 million tech developers, 260,000 enterprises, and over 2,000 higher education institutions, according to the firm. Hu, who has a background as a software engineer and a code writer for more than a decade, joined Alibaba in 2016.
