"Cudi is the best out of all of them," Davidson said. "I always go with Cudi." When co-host DJ Envy asked the comedian why he liked Cudi so much, Davidson did not beat around the bush.
"He saved my life. I would have killed myself if I didn't have Kid Cudi," Davidson said. "If you're 25 and under, I truly believe that Kid Cudi saved your life."
"I've been in and out of things like that, and I think that's why a lot of kids can relate to Cudi and love him so much," he explained, referring to Cudi's time in rehab. "He's a very emotional dude and saves all of us...I truly believe that if Man on the Moondidn't come out, I wouldn't be here."
"It's kind of comforting to know that your hero goes the same stuff you do," he said before explaining how the two would share unreleased work with each other.
Davidson also said he might visit Cudi while in rehab, saying the rapper seemed to be in "good spirits" the last time they communicated.
